We believe in giving back to the community where we live and work. That is why Perth's is a proud participant in the United Way's Coats for Kids program. Since the program's inception in Winnipeg, Perth's acts as a collection depot and provides cleaning services for the coats that are donated. Each year, over 5000 freshly cleaned coats and parkas are distributed to children in need.

Perth's also supports the Arts in Winnipeg. Every year, Perth's donates services to such groups as the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, the Winnipeg Jewish Theatre and Folklorama. We also support the Manitoba Marathon.

Each year, Perth's employees collect and create a number of massive hampers for the Christmas Cheer Board and neighbourhood food banks. As well as their personal donations, they also make contributions to the United Way by running 50/50 draws and in-house raffles.

Perth’s also honours our commitment to the community by being a leader in environmental responsibility within the dry cleaning industry. Perth’s is proud to have been included in the listing of green dry cleaners by the Canadian Center for Pollution Prevention. Perth’s has adopted many policies that help to ensure we are living up to our responsibility; from reducing our usage of plastic bags via our “envirobag” program, to our comprehensive program designed to collect, re-use and recycle metal hangers. By working with alternative cleaning methods , we are continually reducing our use of the dry-cleaning chemical perchloroethylene (PERC), and we have in place rigorous processes to safely handle and dispose of wastes. Perth’s has and will continue to tackle the challenge of environmental responsibility head-on.
